Steppin' Out is a weekly entertainment magazine founded by Larry Collins. It first hit the stands in September 1988 and is based in New York and New Jersey. The magazine is renowned for its celebrity interviews, often featuring stars on the cover. Its content includes film reviews, entertainment industry gossip, and regular contributions from various writers. Additionally, it offers horoscopes, local event listings, and classified advertisements. With a print readership of over 50,000, Steppin' Out has established itself as a prominent source of entertainment news and insights.

Larry Collins began Steppin' Out magazine with his wife Pamela in his parents' basement in 1988.[1] The magazine was promoted on The Howard Stern Show when he had Chaunce Hayden on as a frequent guest. Hayden was the chief editor of the magazine and wrote many of the articles. Dan Lorenzo was promoted to editor in January 2012. Lorenzo also does ad sales.[2]
